Easter For Kids In Vancouver

You couldn’t ask for a better Easter weekend. With spring flowers starting to bloom, beautiful sunshine and time to spend with friends and family, nothing could be better! To make this long weekend extra fun, here is a list of great family events happening throughout the Lower Mainland.


Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, March 30, 2013

Join the Easter Bunny this Saturday for a special pancake breakfast at the Kensington Community Centre. With lots of arts, crafts and entertainment, you don’t want to miss this great opportunity! Located at the Kensington Community Centre, 5175 Dumfries Street. The event runs from 9:30 to 11:30am. For more information click here.


Easter at the Stanley Park Miniature Train, March 23- April 1, 2013

Enjoy a fun-filled day by riding on the Stanley Park miniature train, hunting for Easter eggs, making crafts and visiting with the Easter Bunny.  Tickets are $8.75 for kids and adults are free to supervise during the egg hunt but pay $3.50 to ride the train. Easter at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, March 30, 2013

The cannery is hosting its annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt this Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Hunt for eggs while learning about fish on the west coast. Participate in fun Easter crafts and activities and enter a draw to win a tasty chocolate prize! Click here for more information.

Easter Egg Hunt, March 31, 2013

Decorate your own Easter bag, get your face painted and hunt for Easter eggs on this “eggciting” day! The hunt times vary according to age and pre-registration is required.  The event is located at the River District Centre, 8683 Kerr Street. Click here for more information.
