This solution can be used in the kitchen to clean countertops and backsplash areas. It is also great in the bathroom for cleaning floors, toilets, and countertops.

1 cup white vinegar

1 cup water

Homemade Kitchen Cleaner with Tea-tree Essential Oil:

This is another great recipe for removing dirt and water deposits. The essential oil also gives a fresh scent when cleaning surfaces.

Mix in spray bottle:

2 tbsp phosphate-free dishwashing liquid

1 tbsp corn flour

1 cup distilled white water

1 cup white vinegar

A few drops of tea-tree essential oil

Shake well before applying to a surface.

The Magic of Baking Soda:

Baking soda is a powerful replacement for harsh commercial cleaners.  It is excellent for removing surface grime, dirt, and soap deposits. If tackling the bathroom is on the to-do list, sprinkle baking soda on a damp cloth or sponge and work the surface areas. For tougher grime areas, such as the tub or sink, mix together baking soda and water and allow it to stand on the applied surface for 10-20 minutes. When finished, flush thoroughly with hot water.
