Well it sure seemed like November and December were busy for us and I guess that is because they were. It seems like January is amazingly busy too-I am quite surprised at how many people seem to be realizing that whether they are buyers or sellers there are a lot of reasons to get to work now in the real estate market. For buyers, there are generally less buyers out there to compete with for homes during the winter months-then it seems a lot more buyers surface in March. When that happens, it can lead to the horrible situation for buyers: multiple offers on everything! And for sellers-there are not usually as many listings at this time of year so there is less selection for the buyers which can mean better prices for sellers: supply and demand! Of course there are also potential corresponding detriments to both sides at this time of year.
