Vancouver area real estate stats are less promising than expected!

Well clearly the market has slowed-there has been no doubt about that...however, I was a bit shocked today to read the Globe and Mail article on this issue: apparently the Vancouver area's almost 43% decrease in sales is the worst in the country, AND for the first time since 1999, the Canadian real estate market prices are dropping.  Fortunately, to date the drops have not been substantial-hopefully that will continue to be the case!  Apparently the markets in Vancouver, Regina and Saskatoon are now the most balanced in the country.  If you would like to see more on how the markets across the country are doing, here is the link to the article:
