Interestingly, it seems that most of the major waterfront projects in Nicaragua have a Vancouver connection. Vancouverites appear to be going down in droves and at least 3 of the projects we have seen are the work of Vancouver investors in Nicaragua. These projects are all different and are at different stages of development. Each will be attractive to different end users or investors. I have purchased bare land (an ocean front lot) but am also contemplating a purchase in a multi-facility development (with spa, fishing, etc). There is also a beautiful eco-friendly resort south of Gigante ( a small town where we had the most amazing red snapper dinner last trip) that is of interest to me as it may be the most beautiful of the properties we have seen down there but we'll see.
