From Vancouver’s west side home to New York’s Time Square Westin W…..

Taking a small break from Vancouver real estate, I am on my way to New York-one of the most expensive cities in the world…and while exciting, in my opinion not anywhere near as beautiful as Vancouver.  Despite the lack of ocean and mountain views, low crime and a climate conducive to year round outdoor activities offered by Vancouver, New York city, in particular Manhattan, has outrageously high property values.  We think it amazing how little we get for our money in Vancouver’s west side and now also in the east side, however they have really got us beat for lack of value for money in property purchases.  Having said that, I have to admit that every time I was in Manhattan last year, I was pleasantly surprised at the fabulous airspace (condos) for sale-great style and amazing use of space.  I imagine that while feeding my real estate addiction this trip (I can’t go anywhere without looking at real estate-I even went to open houses in Africa!) I will find more unique ideas…….
