Hockey-not a huge fan but Luongo’s Penthouse-that’s interesting!

Blog by Patricia Houlihan - Personal Real Estate Corporation | July 17th, 2013

Well, the Canucks are out and it looks as though Luongo is gone with them, onto even greener pastures, or Everglades, most likely.

The once-great goaltender is hoping to shed more than a cumbersome contract. He’s also saying goodbye to the lavish Yaletown apartment that goes with it.

Luongo’s penthouse pad hit the market this week for an astounding 4.2 million. It's a customized 2,673 sq ft 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom plus family room waterfront residence.

It is amazing with incredible views of downtown, the mountains, False Creek and the millions of once adoring fans down below.

The maintenance fees on the apartment are listed as $1,363, and other features of the penthouse include:

Air Conditioning
Clothes Washer/Dryer
Dishwasher
Disposal – Waste
Drapes/Window Coverings
Fireplace Insert
Microwave
Refrigerator
Security System

Even though I may not be the Vancouver real estate agent selling this hotspot there are plenty of reasons to love Yaletown. It is smack dab in the middle of the city, so it is easy access to work, the beaches, Kits, Main Street, the Drive, world-class restaurants. Even the airport is only 25 minutes away thanks to the new Canada Line.

If you want all that Toronto has to offer with the vistas of Vancouver, then Yaletown is for you. Forget about Luongo’s. Call me, and let’s start hunting!
